Pixel HD is a 16×16 low resolution medieval texture pack. It’s a rather new texture pack which explains why not all textures in the game are yet remodelled. The blocks for building structures such as castles and houses looks the best at the moment while grass, dirt and other organic blocks will need a little bit of renovation before it should be considered done. All in all it’s a simple medieval texture pack which should work nice for people on less powerful devices but still want that medieval feeling.

Natural is a semi-realistic texture pack. The textures makes a nice upgrade from the original ones as it isn’t too much realistic and neither a bit too “childish” which some people feel Minecraft can get when adding certain texture packs. It is all a matter of taste of course but this one is a great option for those who prefer a new set of textures but nothing “too much”.

The texture pack is designed for people who enjoy medieval structures and the overall theme that the medieval time era represents. The textures are detailed and realistic, but not too realistic as it still keeps the playful feel that Minecraft is all about.

The skybox is probably the biggest change as it is complete remade. A shifting light blue color and a variety of many different cloud types represents the new realistic sky.

This version of the OzoCraft texture pack is medieval inspired with rustic textures and a shaders giving it a slightly more realistic feel. The details to each texture is amazing and everything fit so well together.

It’s a great pack for building old-looking buildings like churches, castles and so on.

Also nature looks really beautiful.

Huahwi PvP is a realistically and detail rich texture pack. Most of the existing blocks in Minecraft PE got new textures. The only exceptions we could find was the water and lava blocks which still look the same as when using the default textures.

The majority of textures resemble the original textures which make the transition easier for somebody who just want a slight upgrade without losing the Minecraft feel in the graphics.

Beyond Belief is an unbelievably beautiful and realistic shaders pack. Even if the graphics still feel a lot like the blocky Minecraft environment we are all so used to it still is an incredible and beautiful upgrade from the ordinary textures.

Nothing about the pack feels overdone and many of them actually got a quite simplistic visual feel. Beyond Belief is definitely one of the best shaders pack currently out there.

Faithful & Shaders is much similar to the original Faithful texture pack, but with shaders. Adding shaders to an already incredible popular texture pack surely was a safe bet as the result is outstanding. The shaders make the entire pack feel a whole lot more realistic and clean while a lot of the original “Minecrafty” feel remains.

Adventure Time Craft is a texture pack based on the popular animated TV series Adventure Time. As expected, the textures are fun, colorful and cartoon themed. The texture pack looks the best in medieval worlds and in the normal world of Minecraft. If you are looking for a way to simply add more fun to the game, then this pack does a good job of doing that.

Invictus is one of the two versions which are based on the popular Soartex Fanver texture pack. This texture pack in particular is recognized for being very detailed and having a touch of realism. The primarily goal of Invictus isn’t to replace the original pack but instead to be an option for those who want textures suitable for larger builds. For example, a reduction of distracting patterns and gradients has been made.

No matter whether you intend to use the pack for larger builds or just for normal gameplay it’s definitely a great choice since this is a port from a PC texture pack and has been in development for several years.

OttieCraftPE combines cartoon with simplicity. The colors are bright which cause the entire world in Minecraft to turn into an even happier place. A current theme through the entire pack is the symmetrical and obsessive patterns. In that way it’s quite similar to the oCd Texture Pack, but a lot brighter in colors.

We did notice that some of the blocks hasn’t yet been redesigned, but perhaps that will happen in later updates.

Default PE is a double sized resolution of the default textures (32×32 instead of 16×16) in Minecraft PE. As a result, all textures are more detailed which make them look better. The textures still look much alike the default texture pack as they have the same style and colors but at a higher resolution.

Dokucraft Dark looks similar to the other versions of Dokucraft as it’s a medieval styled texture pack. The only difference is simply that there is a darker and more moody tone to the look of the textures. If you are looking for something to add more darkness to your worlds then this might be it.

OzoCraft is a medieval styled texture pack. The pattern and colors of the textures are for the most part quite dark and rustic, but that’s ultimately what makes suitable pack for RPG or medieval styled creations such as old towns and so on. It’s one of the top texture packs for the PC version of Minecraft and it’s now available for Pocket Edition as well.

ModernHD is one of the most popular realistic texture packs for the PC version of Minecraft and it has now made its introduction to Minecraft Pocket Edition as well. The texture pack work really good for worlds which you want to look more realistic. In general it’s a very detailed, clean pack with great vibrant colors.

VaultCraft is designed in a similar fashion to the graphics in the Fallout games. Basically the textures have a gloomy and apocalyptic look to them and work only the best for such builds and apocalyptic survival gameplays. The textures are quite realistic, especially the decorative blocks like the bookshelf, furnace and doors.

The End is Extremely Nigh. Oh yes, it really is, at least that’s the feel you’ll get if using this texture pack. Everything look much more dark and gloomy. The textures for buildings will look much more weather-beaten, just like if no one has cared to take any care of them for the last couple of years. If you want your game graphics to appear more apocalyptic then this is a great choice for you.

Turn the world of Minecraft into candyland. Wheat will be transformed to delicious lollipops and wood logs will look like huge candy canes. If you like candy (which we presume most of you do) then Sugarpack will definitely be the one texture pack which will leave you craving for candy!

This pack is a nostalgic trip for anyone who have played the NES. It will literally make the world of Minecraft look like Super Mario or Legend of Zelda but in a 3D format. The graphics are pixelated and not very realistic but that’s part what makes it great. It’s amazing to realize how graphics for games have so rapidly evolved.

ModernPack is a medium-low resolution texture pack suitable for modern creations in Minecraft Pocket Edition. It has a nice color scheme of blue, grey and white colors which create a very simple and clean design. If you are looking to add a more smooth and simplistic touch to your creations then this pack is definitely a great choice. A good thing is that it should work smoothly on most devices.

John Smith Legacy is one of the oldest texture packs for Minecraft PC (and now ported to Pocket Edition). It’s a medieval styled texture pack which work nicely for terrain and structures which you want to give a more rustic and weather-beaten look. If you like really detailed packs then this one will most likely be a perfect choice for you.
